She accused actor – producer S P B Charan of attempting to rape her and misbehaving with her at the Mankatha success party.According to Sona, she attended the Mankatha success party thrown by Vaibhav and team where Charan grabbed her and attempted to sexually assault her. She also mentioned that Venkat Prabhu tried to pull away an inebriated Charan from assaulting her. Earlier, Sona visited the Pondy Bazaar police station and lodged a formal complaint against Charan for attempted rape. Sona declared that she would immolate herself if Charan do not come out with a public apology for this assault on her.
